Colorado Rampage is Happy to Announce Cole Fletcher as new Associate Coach
Colorado Native, Cole Fletcher embarked on his hockey journey with the Arapahoe Ice Warriors, where he dedicated his entire youth hockey career. Upon graduating, Cole ventured into the competitive realm of Junior hockey, honing his skills in both the WSHL and KIJHL Junior A hockey leagues over two years.
During his time in Canada, Cole's passion for the game flourished as he assumed the role of assistant coach for his club's local bantam teams. It was through this experience that Cole discovered his true calling behind the bench, igniting his love for coaching.
After aging out of Juniors, Cole moved back to Colorado where he spent a year coaching the U15AA at Hyland Hills Hockey Association. He then moved back to his hometown of Parker which created an opportunity to take his coaching to the Littleton Hockey Association. At Littleton, Cole coached many different levels from Bantam A all the way to U18AA, stopping at each age level in between. In 2018, Cole was offered a unique opportunity to take the 2006 birth year group from U13AA all the way to U18AA over the next 5 years. The project culminated in a USA Hockey U16AA National Championship win during the 2022-2023 season. The championship winning team posted a 62-7-2 record outscoring opponents 4-1 throughout the season. The team went 6-0 in nationals coming from behind in 5 of the 6 games.
Cole prides himself on his dedication to the development of young athletes both on and off the ice. With the use of complex systems and a focus on team chemistry and endurance, Cole has seen success at every level he has experienced. He is excited for the new opportunity to work with high level Tier1 athletes and bring his focus on a team first mentality to Rampage hockey.
"The opportunity to coach at an organization I have been familiar with since I was a kid is an honor. To be able to bring my style and philosophies to the Tier1 Elite league is something I have hoped for a very long time. I am excited to work with the dedicated athletes as well as an exceptional staff here at Rampage." – Cole Fletcher
